Better Choices for Saving Energy Now
The Renewable Energy Directive (EEG) provides that, when connecting new generators to the grid, the systems that produce electricity from renewable sources must be considered first. Network operators should also set priorities for the consumption and distribution of electricity produced from renewable sources. It is envisaged that the volume of energy from renewable sources will increase by 2020 to 35% of the total volume of electricity produced and to 80% by 2050. There comes the Reliant Energy Plans in every way.
Producing companies and railway companies that consume large quantities of electricity only have the obligation to limit the consumption according to the EEG as much as possible, in order to avoid the negative impact on their international competitiveness.
Industrial producers that consume large volumes of electricity, 1 gig watt hour in the last fiscal year is 14% of the gross economic value added on January 1, 2012 can be largely exempt from the EEG tax on the basis of a request to the Bureau German Federal for Economic and Export Monitoring (BAFA). In order to qualify for the tax exemption, applicants must prove, based on the appropriate attestation, that they have recorded and evaluated the energy consumption and the possibilities to reduce it. For applications submitted from 2012 i.e. for the 2013 calendar year, only the energy management systems conforming and the environmental management systems conforming to EMAS will be considered as proof of attestation.
Existing situation
The first important stage is the establishment of energy aspects, i.e. energy consumption. This is closely related to quantifying energy consumption and recording the technical information associated with energy type, year of manufacture, efficiency, etc. All supply, conversion, compressors, transformers, boilers, etc. and distribution systems compressed air systems, cooling and hot water networks, etc. all energy-consuming machinery and processes, and all emissions usually must be recorded. After energy consumption, heat or flue gas is eliminated. In the initial evaluation any energy saving programs already in operation must be considered. These are the key points of the energy management scheme.
Implementation
Once all aspects of energy have been identified, they must be evaluated to measure any possibility of improvement:
- Can energy consumers be replaced with new equipment, possibly smaller and more efficient?
- Can the operating intervals be recalculated between maintenance interventions or processes and procedures to save energy?
- What energy costs does each individual consumer generate?
Initiatives that bring the biggest savings in the shortest time will be implemented.
Energy management
It is based on two support points:
The measures necessary to achieve the objectives
The measures are necessary to establish efficient energy consumption in all the operating processes. This includes, among other things, fixed tasks for employees which come into force immediately, general rules extinguishing lights in rooms when they leave and shutting down equipment when not in use and ongoing training.
When it comes to the energy saving then it comes up with the best intentions and there comes the essential steps for the same. Be sure that you will be able to segregate the do’s and don’ts and come up with the best results for the same. Surely you will be having all sorts of ideas for the saving the energy and that makes the whole process perfect now.
