Here's another family portrait session at the Hartley Botanica. Notice how the same location can look completely different, depending on the light, the weather and the time of day. Still gorgeous but with a different feel.
Below is another one of those moments that are special to me (and the families I work for). This shot of a big brother caring for his little sister was captured "in between" the posed shots.
The last time this family had family portraits made, their son was about three and their daughter not yet born. So they wanted a family portrait session with a special emphasis on her. And she was quite a ham!
Worth more than all the gold in the world, a kiss from his little girl.
The little girl kept asking her parents if she could take her shoes off. So when the session was almost over, we had a "shoe removal ceremony" so she could go play.
